Well, actually gue bikin tulisan ini sebagai bagian dari persyaratan mengikuti satu program inkubasi di Jakarta. 2-4 paragraf tulisan mengenai mengapa gue menjadi entrepreneur alias pengusaha. PR ini bikin gue teringat kegalauan waktu akan lulus dari S1 teknik informatika, dan kegalauan-kegalauan lain waktu ada tantangan di kantor.
Tulisannya terpaksa bahasa Inggris karena diwajibkan begitu. Thanks to om gugle atas bantuannya, dan pastinya gue refine ga mungkin comot translate aja dari om gugle. Here it goes:
I am interested in entrepreneurship since college days. Back then, I was selling t-shirts, learning financial instruments, and working on freelance projects. In my third year, I started software developer team with some fellow students in my third year, our team named Licht. I found that my passion is in programming, so I leave other businesses behind.
As my graduation day draw near, I was faced with the difficult choice between Licht or working for one reputable company. Not easy options, and I need proper reason to pick between them. After days of thinking, I found that it is my dream to have unlimited possibilities in terms of personal and financial achievement. In entrepreneurship, sky is the limit for me and I can do anything. I asked my fellow founders of Licht, a bit persuade them, and gladly they decide to join me running the company.
Life does not always be in good circumstances, so does our company. Problems and challenges took place, leaving two of the initial five founders. I can’t lie that sometimes I want to give up as an entrepreneur, but my dream, my responsibility to other co-founder and our employees keep me standing still.
